Nova Scotia artist, Anna Horsnell Wade is proud
to have one of her paintings featured in the August/September 2012 issue of
International Artist Magazine. Her abstract work entitled “Whisper” was
selected from entries around the world as a top-ten finalist in the
International Artist Challenge #70, Abstract and Experimental Art Competition.
Horsnell Wade’s painting will be paired
with information outlining the inspiration behind the work, her design strategy
and her creative process. The award-winning painting was one of four the artist
submitted to the magazine’s jurying process.
“Over
the years, I have been a regular reader of International Artist and am often
inspired by the various artists from around the globe, not just North America. To
have my work published as a competition finalist feels very good, “ explains
Horsnell Wade.
Voted
the world’s best art magazine, International Artist provides articles for
artists by artists from around the world. It is published six times a year and
regularly challenges artists with various competitions on specific subject
matter.
